Welcome to the Coming to Dublin page, where I share my experiences as a Canadian coming to Dublin to work along with my wife, who is attending medical school in University College Dublin.
Even though we came from one English-speaking country to another, we still experienced quite a culture shock. There was no centralized guide to Dublin for day-to-day things to do for new comers and we were quite at a loss.
With this in mind I decided to write up my experiences so that hopefully this disjoint narrative will help others coming to Dublin. If you have any questions or would like to suggest a topic for me to share, please do not hesitate to contact me, since I do not vouch for this site being an exhaustive guide to Dublin.
