Shipping to Dublin

There are several companies that ship goods either via air or by sea to Dublin. You can also contact the airline you are flying with and see whether they do bulk shipments. We shipped around 130 kg when we came and did this through Air Transat Cargo.

Shipments by sea usually take longer, but I would advise to shop around. When in Dublin, all cargo is likely to arrive to Dublin Airport, if shipped by air, where you can either pick it up or arrange for delivery directly with the company that shipped your goods. Alternatively, you can rent a car and pick up your stuff yourself, but it is usually quite a bit of hassle, so let the pros do the delivering.

On the customs declaration make sure you declare that you are shipping personal effects, otherwise you may be taxed on what you bring into the country.
